PAULO, SUA TEOLOGIA E SEU EVANGELHO

Resumo
Paulo representa o personagem central no cenário do período do Novo Testamento, seja pelos seus escritos que inauguram a literatura do Novo Testamento, bem como na elaboração da Cristologia. Para Paulo o povo Judeu e as Nações são dois polos distintos de uma única realidade. A salvação universal de que Israel é o depositário, tornou-se, através de Jesus como o Messias, acessível às Nações. Paulo, chamado a ser o Apóstolo dos gentios, se vê como protagonista deste momento da intervenção de Deus na história. Este trabalho quer mostrar que sem levar em conta o contexto religioso judaico do tempo de Paulo, a perspectiva messiânica do judaísmo, a tradição oral que interpretou as aspirações religiosas judaicas, ignorando o aspecto social das comunidades fundadas por Paulo, todos esses elementos ignorados, ou vistos com menos importância, tornam impossível entender Paulo, sua teologia e compromete uma visão justa do Novo Testamento.
